Poem: Strength

(Prov 24:10)  “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.”
By Dr. James Rasbeary
February 24, 2010
He who…
When tired, presses on;
When beaten, still has a song;
When hurting, hides the pain;
When tempted, can refrain;
When sad, can still smile;
When worn, goes another mile;
When harmed, can forgive;
When broke, will still give;
When wrong, will confess;
When cursed, can bless;
When down, will not stay;
When needed, will not delay;
When challenged, does not shirk;
When employed, does his work;
When weary, does not recline;
When losing, will not whine;
When failing, gives another try;
When dying, will not die;
…is strong.
