“The LORD, Which Maketh A Way”

(Isa 43:16-17) “Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; {17} Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.”

Israel was given a prophetic promise which seemed impossible. Before the Babylonian Captivity, in which the Jews were scattered to the four corners of the earth, God told them that He would eventually bring them back again into the land of promise. To encourage them in those dark days ahead, He pointed them back to the first time He had made a way out of a foreign land, when He brought them out of Egypt and through the Red Sea.

Does it seem that there is no solution to your problem? Have you reached a point where it seems impossible to go on? Does it seem that you have exhausted all possible options? If you are in the will of God, keep going forward and trust in “the LORD, which maketh a way.” This message was preached Sunday morning, June 10, 2012, at LBC.        Download MP3.  Or, Listen Now.
