“Following Christ – Afar Off”

Before Peter denied Christ three times, the third time with cursing and swearing, he sat down at the enemy’s fire. And before he sat down among them and tried to blend in with the ungodly, he “followed afar off” (Luke 22:54). Some Christians want to follow the Lord – from a safe distance. Others once walked right at the heels of the Saviour, but since have let some things slip, and have drifted away. They are still following, but from “afar off.” This message, from the lowest point in the life of the Apostle Peter, stands as a warning to Christians everywhere to stay close to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Download MP3.    Or,  Listen Now.
