Every preacher has a short list of books which have made a great impact on his life and ministry. Recently, at the recommendation of a missionary, I read an old book which has inspired, strengthened, illuminated, instructed and convicted me as a preacher. This book, published exactly 100 years ago, is “The Minister as Shepherd” by Charles Edward Jefferson.
The version that I read was a computer-generated eBook with a great number of spelling errors, misprints, and other somewhat irritating problems. However, I could not find another, better version available online, although the book is public domain. Believing that this book would be a blessing to others, I have produced a new file, edited properly, and available in several formats:
1. An EPUB file (which should work on most eBook readers). If you have trouble downloading from here, try it from my bookstore site.
2. A PDF file (which will work for many eReaders and PC’s). Download Minister As Shepherd PDF. Personally, I like this version the best, but the EPUB file may be best for many eBook readers.
