As 2011 draws to a close, we are thankful for God’s continued blessings on Lighthouse Baptist Church. Our eleventh year saw many saved, baptized, and added to the church, as well as many, many visitors attending our services. As we begin our twelfth year, we are looking at the admonition of Hosea 10:12 - ”Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

It is time to seek God’s face. We need to seek the face and blessing of God upon our lives, family, church, city and nation. We need a revival that will break up the fallow ground so that the seed sown can take root and flourish. Will you join me in setting aside daily time to spend in the Word of God and prayer? Will you join me in making a prayer list for your family and church and faithfully bringing your petition before the Lord? Will you join me in setting aside times of fasting and prayer? Will you join me in the services of the church, and the special revival meetings we have planned for 2012? Will you join me in seeking a closer, deeper walk with God? “It is time to seek the Lord.”
