The Christians of Asia Minor were in the midst of manifold temptations and the trial of their faith – yet they were rejoicing greatly! When the world sees in us “joy unspeakable” during our trials of faith, we show forth a testimony that is “full of glory” to God. A Christian without joy is certainly poor advertisement for the gospel.
