One of the most fearful passages in the entire Bible came from the lips of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:21-23. He warned that there would be “many” standing before the Great White Throne Judgment who thought that they were Christians, but were not. They will cry, “Lord, Lord, have we not done many wonderful works in your name?” But the Lord will answer, “Depart from me. I never knew you.”
Can a person be a church member and yet not be saved? Can a man even preach the Word of God and yet be unsaved? Can a person be sincere, and even say that Jesus is Lord, and yet have never been born again? The answer to these questions is, sadly, YES.
God is willing to save anyone, anywhere – but He will only do it one way, and that is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This message deals with Deceived Faith, Dead Faith, and Demonic Faith, before describing Dynamic Faith – true saving faith that brings spiritual birth and life from above.
